	Shanghai Shipping Engineering Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Ship Waste Water Treatment Plant), which locates at the south bank of Yangtse river, Waigaoqiao, Pudong New District, Shanghai, P.R.China, is the direct subsidiary company of Shanghai Shipping (Group) Company. It is about 10 kilometer away from wusong mouth (Longitude 121° 37′9″ east , Latitude 31° 21′23″north). Established in April , 1997, the plant’s the total investment is RMB 190 Million, which comes from the GEFO donation, World Bank load and domestic capital.

	The plant occupies 50,000 square meters, and owns the berth with the capacity of 30,000 tunnage and modern wastewater treatment equipment. It focus on oil ship tank cleaning, and ship waste water treatment. With the capacity of 400,000 tons waste water treatment per year, and the national standard treatment quality, this plant in China but also in Far East Asia. With 330 meters long jetty, 198 meters bridge approach, 9meters depth front jetty and 6meters depth back jetty, and for its complete liquid receiving, fire extinguisher, monitoring, power and anti-pollution equipment, the berth was approved by SHMC to do business with foreign ships. It can berth on 30,000 tunnage ship or two ships with 5,000 tunnage at once in the front part, and one 3,000 tunnage ship at the back side at the same time. After expanding to 440 meters long, and 9.5 meters depth in front jetty, it will have bigger capacity since 2009. We provide storage and oil product transfer service. There is a 42,000 M3 storage tank, 11,000M3 of it for oil pollution water and the rest for Asphalt, Animal oil and finished oil product. Company won “Trust Unit” issued by Shanghai Harbor Authority for three consecutive years since 1999, the title of “Shanghai Civilized Unit” in 2000, and got ISO2000 certificate in 2003.
